About The Position
Providence Place of Dover is seeking compassionate individuals to join their team as Caregivers. In this role, you will assist elderly residents with various needs, including personal care, dining services, and companionship. The residents require different levels of care, ranging from independent living to personal care (assistance with dressing, bathing, mobility) and memory care in a specialized dementia neighborhood. The ideal candidate is reliable, enjoys helping the elderly, and works well in a team environment. Providence Place is committed to employee development and providing high-quality care to residents.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- Willingness to work as part of a great team
- Reliable
- Must be able to work every other weekend/every other holiday (EOW/EOH)
Responsibilities
- Assist elderly residents with daily living activities such as dressing, bathing, and mobility.
- Provide companionship and support to residents.
- Serve meals to residents.
- Work as part of a team to ensure resident well-being.
