About The Position

The Personal Banking Representative (PBR) II is an intermediate-level position that provides support to bank clients, assists with account management, check processing, and other transactions, as well as promoting best-fit products and services to bank clients.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated understanding of the features and benefits of Alpine Bank consumer and business products and services.
  • Understands and demonstrates the importance of the ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to compose and submit proper business correspondence to internal and external customers.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) equivalent preferred.
  • Dormant status preferred or appropriate course completed within 3 months of hire.
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Colorado Driver’s License is required.
  • A minimum of one (1) year working as a Customer Service Representative II, Senior CSR, CSR Lead, or PBR I; or
  • One (1) year of experience working on frontline at a financial institution, preferred.
  • Previous cash handling and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Practices exceptional service with customers using available training programs and measurement tools (ie. Alpine Way/CARE/Customer Surveys standards).
  • Uses numerous software applications to perform daily tasks with minimal errors.
  • Utilizes CARE to provide exceptional customer service while opening, closing, and maintaining consumer and commercial bank accounts for Alpine Bank customers.
  • Acts as a first point of contact for customers, and manages recommendations of products, or refers customers to other areas of the bank.
  • Opens and maintains consumer and commercial bank accounts for Alpine Bank customers.
  • Assists and educates customers on Alpine On-line services, such as but not limited to, Bill Pay, Bank-to-Bank and Person-to-Person transfers, and basic commercial banking services.
  • Accurately processes deposits, transfers, withdrawals, and other transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Assists with balancing cash drawer, vault, and/or ATM settlement.
  • Performs safe deposit box entry and exit functions for customers.
  • Adheres to strict policies and procedures for wires and safe deposit boxes.
  • Generates correspondence to secure additional customer information to resolve customer concerns.
  • Supports location in open/closing procedures, as well as, operational audits.
  • Trains new and existing Personal Banking Representatives.
  • Regular and reliable on-site attendance is required as an essential function of this position.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
