About The Position

The Personal Banker SAFE Act is an entry-level position responsible for assisting with sales, product, and service activities in coordination with the customer service team. The role focuses on fostering customer relationships, building loyalty, and increasing sales to individual consumer clients. The position also supports small business clients by responding to qualifying credit requests, identifying larger lending opportunities, and promoting relevant products and services.

This role is based at Citi’s Biscayne Branch in Miami, Florida. It is a full-time position with a stated salary range of $50,600 to $70,600. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• NMLS registration and SAFE Act compliance.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree, university degree, or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

• Previous banking, retail, or sales experience.
• Knowledge of Smart Banking tools and technologies.
• Bilingual English/Spanish speaking ability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with business credit requests under $250,000, recognize and refer larger lending opportunities, and cross-sell treasury and related small business products.
• Build referral business opportunities through Centers of Influence (COIs) and the Member Get Member (MGM) Program.
• Assist with strategies to grow the small business client base and implement sales plans targeting Book of Business customers.
• Deliver client services and make outbound and inbound calls to acquire new relationships and deepen existing relationships through relevant cross-selling and a remarkable client experience.
• Coach and guide tellers and other branch staff on products and special programs, identifying client needs, and making appropriate referrals.
• Recognize clients’ transaction needs, educate them about service and digital channels, use available technology and marketing tools to identify opportunities, and present product offers and financial solutions.
• Understand and comply with Citibank policies, standards, and procedures.
• Assess risk in business decisions, protect the firm's reputation and the assets of Citigroup and its clients, comply with applicable laws and regulations and company policy, exercise sound ethical judgment, and transparently escalate, manage, and report control issues.
