About The Position

As a Personal Banker, you’ll build meaningful relationships with new and existing customers—listening, advising, and connecting them with financial solutions that truly fit their lives. You’ll be a visible, trusted presence both in the branch and out in the community, confidently introducing customers to a full range of banking services, including consumer and home equity lending. Along the way, you’ll support daily branch operations, handle transactions, and help resolve customer needs with professionalism, warmth, and a problem-solving mindset. This is a people-first role for someone who thrives on connection.

Requirements

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in banking
  • Previous involvement in consumer lending
  • High school diploma required
  • Superior knowledge of Bank products and services
  • Strong interpersonal skills including being a good listener with an acute ability to remain pro-active and decisive
  • Top-notch written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional internal and external customer service with demonstrated relationship-building skills
  • Proven successes with maintaining, developing and expanding customer relationships
  • Fluency in Microsoft Suite
  • Positive attitude and ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Self-motivated and driven with exemplary engagement
  • Willingness to accept direction/instruction and work well within a team of professionals
  • Ability to travel to Norway, ME for training

Nice To Haves

  • Post high school education, certification and/or college degree preferred, or commensurate work experience
  • Preferred aptitude in Integrated Teller and CRM software
