About The Position

Citizens First Bank is hiring a Personal Banker at our Downtown Ocala Branch! At Citizens First Bank, we're more than just a financial institution. As a Personal Banker, you'll have the opportunity to be the face of our bank, providing exceptional service and guiding our customers towards their financial goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • One year in a customer service/retail environment
  • One to two years as a Teller
  • Must be able to complete ICBA’s Universal Banker Certificate Program within first year of hire
  • Must be detail oriented, have good general math skills, letter composition and typing skills
  • Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and skilled in using a 10-key calculator
  • Must be able to withstand varying degrees of stress
  • Must be able to attend work regularly and on time and perform position requirements with little supervision
  • Must have the ability to meet and greet internal and external customers in a professional, positive manner
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to be flexible by being able to adjust adeptly to changing priorities
  • Ability to function as a member of a team including participating in branch activities and displaying positive behavior

Nice To Haves

  • Previous two years of experience as a Customer Service Representative
  • Two years of experience as a Teller or in a combined role in a banking or related environment
  • Completed Universal Banker Certificate Program
  • CFT courses in consumer and mortgage lending or other accredited programs
