Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
One year in a customer service/retail environment
One to two years as a Teller
Must be able to complete ICBA’s Universal Banker Certificate Program within first year of hire
Must be detail oriented, have good general math skills, letter composition and typing skills
Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and skilled in using a 10-key calculator
Must be able to withstand varying degrees of stress
Must be able to attend work regularly and on time and perform position requirements with little supervision
Must have the ability to meet and greet internal and external customers in a professional, positive manner
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to be flexible by being able to adjust adeptly to changing priorities
Ability to function as a member of a team including participating in branch activities and displaying positive behavior

Nice To Haves

Previous two years of experience as a Customer Service Representative
Two years of experience as a Teller or in a combined role in a banking or related environment
Completed Universal Banker Certificate Program
CFT courses in consumer and mortgage lending or other accredited programs
