About The Position

Citizens First Bank is hiring a Personal Banker at their Downtown Ocala Branch. This role involves being the face of the bank, providing exceptional service, and guiding customers towards their financial goals. Personal Bankers are expected to build lasting relationships with customers, offer tailored financial solutions from checking accounts to loans, actively promote bank products and services to contribute to branch success, and stay updated with banking technologies and trends to deliver seamless customer experiences.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required, one year in a customer service/retail environment and one to two years as a Teller.
• Must be able to complete ICBA’s Universal Banker Certificate Program within first year of hire.
• Must be detail oriented, have good general math skills, letter composition and typing skills.
• Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and skilled in using a 10-key calculator.
• Must be able to withstand varying degrees of stress and must be able to attend work regularly and on time and perform position requirements with little supervision.
• Must have the ability to meet and greet internal and external customers in a professional, positive manner, ability to communicate effectively, ability to be flexible by being able to adjust adeptly to changing priorities, ability to function as a member of a team including participating in branch activities and displaying positive behavior.

Nice To Haves

• Previous two years of experience as a Customer Service Representative and two years of experience as a Teller or in a combined role in a banking or related environment.
• Completed Universal Banker Certificate Program and CFT courses in consumer and mortgage lending or other accredited programs
