About The Position

This role is for a Personal Banker I - Floater who will provide coverage in both personal banking and teller services while meeting consumer banking performance standards. The ideal candidate will educate and advise customers on deposits and loans, provide support for service or account maintenance issues, and use good judgment in every situation. The role involves providing teller services, managing cash on hand, preparing daily settlements, managing risk, and practicing loss prevention. The Personal Banker I will also attend training to stay current with policies and regulations, develop client relationships, and provide financial guidance. Requirements

  • Required Availability: Monday–Friday, 7:45am–6:15pm with Rotating Saturdays, 8:45am–1:15pm
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Providing coverage in both personal banking and teller services while meeting consumer banking performance standards
  • Educating and advising customers on deposits, loans and provide support for any service or account maintenance issues
  • Using good judgement in every situation, in the moment
  • Providing teller services, including deposits, payments, and check cashing in compliance with established bank policies and procedures
  • Maintaining proper cash on hand and preparing daily settlement of teller cash and proof transactions
  • Managing risk while actively practicing loss prevention
  • Attending both teller and personal banking training to stay current with information and remain familiar with applicable policies, laws, regulations, and Bank Secrecy Act policies
  • Developing relationships with clients
  • Providing advice and guidance and help people along their financial journey
