About The Position

This position is the Office's front line with regard to New Accounts Consumer Banking and Customer Service. Expertise and solid product knowledge is a must. Extensive customer contact position selling and servicing multiple financial services and products to broaden customer base. Assist with merchant program and other duties as assigned. Administration of deposit products, installment loans, Credit Line and Home Equity loan portfolios, servicing them as needed to ensure maximum profitability for the bank. Development of new business through the servicing of requests, calling on existing customers, identification and calling on potential customers, and representing the bank in community activities. The Personal Banker will have extensive in-person and telephone contact with customers and potential customers and is proactive in contributing to the profitability and growth of the branch, the growth of profitable loan and deposit portfolios, and the development and retention of customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Aptitude to develop thorough knowledge of all types of deposit and consumer loan products.
  • Excellent communication skills, organizational skills and professionalism due to extensive public and telephone contact.
  • Computer word processing and spreadsheet knowledge and experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Bank Operations knowledge and skills a plus.
