About The Position

QSL Management is seeking a Personal Assistant for Barclay House of Oakleaf Village. The role supports assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening, help with activities of daily living, and assistance with programs and activities. The position also includes light housekeeping, laundry, and dining assistance as needed or directed by the leadership team. The advertised schedule is 2nd shift, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Requirements

• Have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Flexibility and willingness to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification; preferred but not required unless required by state regulations.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Experience working with older adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with companionship and supportive listening.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Report changes in residents’ health and status.
• Complete daily data sheets to record residents’ progress.
• Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with dining as needed or directed by the leadership team.
• Assist with activities that keep residents engaged and happy.
