About The Position
QSL Management is seeking a Personal Assistant for The Blake at Bossier City. The role supports assisted living and memory care residents through companionship, supportive listening, assistance with activities of daily living, and activities that keep residents engaged and happy. The position also includes reporting changes in residents’ health and status, completing daily data sheets, supporting memory and performance improvement programs, performing light housekeeping and laundry, and assisting with dining as needed or directed by the leadership team. Requirements
- Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred, but not required unless required by the state.
- CPR/First Aid is preferred.
- Experience working with older adults is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and supportive listening to assisted living and memory care residents.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Report changes in residents’ health and status and complete daily data sheets to record progress.
- Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Assist with dining as needed or as directed by the leadership team.
- Assist with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.
