About The Position

Our Personal Assistants support people to lead full, active and socially connected lives, supporting people to achieve the things that matter to them. Applicants should have, or be willing to work towards, a qualification meeting the standards required for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). We are currently recruiting for several 20 hour contracts (or fewer hours if this suits you) in the EH10 area, supporting a small group of young adults who each live in their own flat. You will be part of an established and supportive team, providing person centred support that promotes independence, choice, and wellbeing. The service supports a young couple who live together, supported to live as independently as possible; three females, all very different individuals with their own needs, interests, and sparkling personalities. All live independently within their own flats but are neighbours; and a young gentleman who requires 1 hour of support each morning to help him get ready for work.
