About The Position

UCP Heartland is seeking compassionate and committed Residential DSP's (Direct Care Professional) for a full-time position in Overland. This role offers a positive, team-driven work environment with a set schedule of Sunday - Wednesday, 11 PM - 9 AM, totaling 40 hours weekly. As a DSP (Direct Care Provider), you will provide physical assistance with daily tasks, assist with personal hygiene, facilitate fun activities, document shift activities, perform general housekeeping, and follow medical orders including administering medications. A key part of this role is providing clients with choices for their daily activities, entertainment, and community outings. This position makes a difference in people's lives 365 days a year.

Requirements

High School diploma or its equivalent (GED).
Valid Drivers’ license
Clean Driving Record and successfully completes and maintains assigned drivers training
A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEKEND SHIFT PER WEEKEND
Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field
Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
Ability to consistently work in a professional, cooperative manner with all Agency clients and personnel.
Good written and oral communication skills
Computer Proficiency
Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

Provide physical assistance with daily tasks, assist with personal hygiene and facilitate fun activities.
ADL's, Lift and Transfer (including ceiling lifts, repositioning in wheelchair, etc)
Shift documentation using Set-Works
General Housekeeping
Follow medical orders and administer medications.
Provide choices to the clients for their daily activities to provide entertainment and community outings.
