About The Position

UCP Heartland is seeking compassionate and committed PERSONAL ASSISTANTS (Direct Care Providers) for FULL-TIME shifts. UCP Heartland offers a positive, team driven, work environment at $21.00/Hour. This is a set 36 Hour/Week Schedule for Sunday - Tuesday, 9PM-9AM. UCP Heartland strives to be the provider of choice supporting people living with disabilities and you can be a part of that mission. Requirements

High School diploma or its equivalent (GED).
Valid Drivers’ license
Clean Driving Record and successfully completes and maintains assigned drivers training
A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEKEND SHIFT PER WEEKEND
Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field
Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
Ability to consistently work in a professional, cooperative manner with all Agency clients and personnel.
Good written and oral communication skills
Computer Proficiency
Reliable transportation
5-7 days of mandatory training at our corporate office Monday through Friday 8:45 AM - 4:15 PM

Responsibilities

Provide physical assistance with daily tasks, assist with personal hygiene and facilitate fun activities.
Follow medical orders and administer medications.
Provide choices to the clients for their daily activities to provide entertainment and community outings.
