TheKey is seeking compassionate Personal Assistant/Companionship Caregivers for immediate openings in the Redwood City and Atherton areas. Requirements

Must be able to drive clients to appointments
At least 18 years of age
HCA Registration with the State of California (we can help you obtain this upon hire) including meeting state background requirements
Valid driver’s license, with access to a fully insured personal vehicle
TB Clearance or Chest X-Ray
Caregivers must comply with state background screening requirements and must be eligible to work in the US.
In accordance with Article 2 of the California Health and Safety Code - California Community Care Facilities Act, TheKey requires timely and accurate positive fingerprint identification of applicants as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly companionship, conversation, games, puzzles, and emotional support.
Accompany clients to social events, stores, outings, and appointments.
Help organize calendars, schedule appointments, make plans and follow through, run errands, and assist with grocery shopping.
Perform basic cleaning, laundry, organizing, and other tasks to help keep the household running smoothly.
Drive clients safely to appointments, social activities, stores, and errands (valid driver’s license and auto insurance required).
Provide light transfer and mobility assistance as needed.
Act as a reliable point of contact with excellent communication skills to coordinate with family members and other care team members.
This role starts with a strong focus on companionship and personal assistance but offers opportunities for growth into memory care as client needs evolve.
