About The Position
We are seeking a dependable, caring individual to assist elderly woman with daily activities and companionship. The ideal candidate will be responsible, patient, and comfortable with both light housekeeping; laundry; dog walking and driving. There is NO bathing or personal ADLs that is needed. The elderly client is female and uses a walker and quite independent on her own, She has a small dog that needs also a daily walk perhaps with her if she is up to going with you.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Reliable vehicle with insurance
- Comfortable with pets (small dog)
- Friendly, patient, and trustworthy demeanor
- Must pass a background check prior to hire
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving or personal assistant experience preferred
Responsibilities
- House- cleaning in the apartment (tidying, dishes, vacuuming and laundry)
- Drive to doctors' appointments, shopping, or local outings.
- Taking the small dogs for walks daily
