About The Position
East Farms Elementary School is seeking a Permanent Building Substitute for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in obtaining a teaching certification or supporting their local district. The position offers direct experience working in a classroom as a teacher or paraprofessional. The role will primarily support East Farms Elementary School (K-4) and may occasionally assist other elementary schools as needed. The daily pay rate for a Permanent Building Substitute is $144.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with school age students
- Must be fingerprinted within 30 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Candidates with State of CT Teacher Certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support East Farms Elementary School (K-4).
- Occasionally support other Elementary Schools when needed.
- Work in the classroom as a teacher or paraprofessional.
