About The Position

Supervises Permanency staff to support the well-being of children in the Permanency Services Program. Coordinates with community stakeholders and agencies, and ensures accurate and timely service delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field
  • 4+ years in child welfare
  • Strong communication skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Financial comprehension skills
  • Complete a Predictive Index assessment

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support Permanency staff, ensuring case file accuracy and adherence to policies.
  • Participate in program planning, budgeting, and goal setting.
  • Develop and implement Permanency Program policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with public/private agencies and community resources for service delivery.
  • Facilitate family preparation for Permanency through assessments, home visits, and mentoring.
  • Ensure timely and accurate court documentation and adherence to court orders.
  • Provide ongoing support and crisis intervention as needed.
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate staff; promote teamwork and cultural sensitivity.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating staff per agency policies.
