As a Perioperative Support Specialist you will: Work under the direction of an RN, assists in smooth daily operations of the PACU, OR, or GI Lab by performing routine and delegated ancillary duties according to standards and policies. Assist nurses in preparing and transporting patients for surgery. Help maintain cleanliness and upkeep of equipment and supplies in the care environment.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Basic computer skills
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required
  • Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

Responsibilities
