Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of OR experience
  • BSN Required
  • Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse)

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year teaching preferred
  • MSN preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assessing, developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for perioperative personnel to maintain competency, continuing education, and leadership development.
  • Functioning as an instructor, coordinator and clinical resource to the staff and various OR locations within Cooper Heath System.
  • Acting as a clinical resource for perioperative personnel using evidence-based standards and professional guidelines.
  • Assessing the environment to determine educational needs of patients and perioperative personnel.
  • Coordinating and instructing the Periop 101 Program at Cooper University Health Care.
