Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of OR experience
- BSN Required
- Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse)
Nice To Haves
- 1 year teaching preferred
- MSN preferred
Responsibilities
- Assessing, developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for perioperative personnel to maintain competency, continuing education, and leadership development.
- Functioning as an instructor, coordinator and clinical resource to the staff and various OR locations within Cooper Heath System.
- Acting as a clinical resource for perioperative personnel using evidence-based standards and professional guidelines.
- Assessing the environment to determine educational needs of patients and perioperative personnel.
- Coordinating and instructing the Periop 101 Program at Cooper University Health Care.
