About The Position
This position functions within a team of perioperative education coordinators to coordinate and facilitate education, communication, quality/performance improvement, and department survey readiness (TJC and CMS).
Requirements
- Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing with current Alabama Licensure
- Extensive perioperative experience
- Demonstrates leadership ability
- BCLS required (must be completed within the Orientation Period)
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred
- Management experience desirable
- BCLS instructor preferred
- ACLS preferred
- CNOR/ASPAN preferred
- demonstrated ability to lead and work within a team
- demonstrated ability to manage projects
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- proficiency in Microsoft office applications as well as the facilities systems (SIS, iCare, Netlearning, Docushare, etc.)
