About The Position
Located on the second floor at Freeman Hospital West, this is a fast-paced department that provides exceptional care to patients throughout their surgical journey - from preoperative preparation to post-anesthesia recovery. The team supports a wide range of surgical and endoscopy procedures offering exposure to diverse specialties and a collaborative, high energy environment. Different shift options are offered to accommodate flexible scheduling needs. This role is for passionate, team-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Requirements
- HWC (Handle With Care) within 90 days.
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers (non-clinical) within 90 days
Responsibilities
- Works under the direction of the Supervisor of Preop/PACU.
- Provides excellent customer service to all patients and visitors.
- Facilitates communication between patients, visitors, and the healthcare team for the continuum of the patient’s journey through perioperative services.
