About The Position

The Periodontic Associate provides specialized periodontal care to a diverse patient base and works closely with other dental specialists and general dentists to deliver comprehensive oral health solutions. The practice seeks a motivated team player with strong communication skills, a caring chair-side manner, and excellent clinical skills who is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- DMD or DDS degree from an accredited dental school.
- Currently enrolled in or completion of a periodontics residency program.

- State licensure as a periodontist.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat periodontal conditions, including gingivitis, periodontitis, and other gum diseases.
- Perform scaling and root planing, gum surgeries, and other periodontal procedures.
- Collaborate with dentists, hygienists, and specialists to create personalized treatment plans.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Stay current with advancements in periodontics and dental technology.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
