About The Position

Great Expressions Dental Centers is seeking an energetic and motivated Periodontics Dental Assistant to join its dental practice and support patients’ oral health. The position involves assisting the dental team with patient care, preparing and maintaining treatment rooms, supporting dentists during procedures, performing basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist, educating patients, and helping manage appointments and records. Michigan hires must furnish evidence of X-ray training certification upon hiring. If the certification is not held at that time, it must be submitted within eight weeks.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of previous dental assisting experience.
• 1–3 years of previous Periodontics experience.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• For Michigan hires: evidence of X-ray training certification upon hiring, or submission within eight weeks of hire.
