About The Position

Great Expressions Dental Centers is seeking an energetic, motivated Periodontics Dental Assistant to join its dental team and support patients’ oral health in a fast-paced practice. The assistant helps provide patient care, prepares and maintains treatment rooms, supports dentists during procedures, educates patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, performs basic dental procedures under a licensed dentist’s guidance, and manages appointments and patient records. Applicants must meet applicable state requirements. In Michigan, new hires must provide evidence of X-ray training certification. If the certification is not available at the time of hiring, it must be submitted within eight weeks. Requirements

2–3 years of previous dental assisting experience.
1–3 years of previous Periodontics experience.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Michigan applicants must provide evidence of X-ray training certification upon hiring or submit it within eight weeks of hiring.

Responsibilities
