About The Position

Pape' Material Handling, Inc. is seeking a Periodic Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role involves performing periodic maintenance and minor repairs on forklifts and other equipment at customer locations. The goal is to ensure customer equipment is properly maintained, running in peak form, and maximizing uptime. Requirements

  • 4 or more years servicing electric and internal combustion lift trucks and construction equipment.
  • Self-motivation and assertive attitude.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Ability to work under little or no supervision.
  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
  • Driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Must provide own tools.

Responsibilities

  • Perform periodic maintenance on all makes and models of forklifts.
  • Perform minor equipment repairs such as lights, belts, engine tune-ups, and hoses.
  • Ensure customer equipment is properly maintained and running in peak form.
  • Maximize customer equipment uptime.
  • Travel to customer locations in a service vehicle.
  • Perform work on equipment.
  • Interact with customers.
