About The Position

All Star Rents, a family-owned Equipment Rental business established in 1962 and operated by the 3rd generation of family members, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Vallejo location. This critical role involves assisting customers and utilizing mechanical skills to repair and service construction and landscaping equipment. This is a full-time hourly position that requires Saturday shifts, with regular shifts ending at 5:30 pm.

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Valid CA driver’s license with satisfactory record
• Valid proof of eligibility to work in the US
• Be able to lift 50lbs unaided
• Minimum 1 year of Mechanical job experience required- services and inspections.
• Computer Literacy- Typing and understanding computers/technology and basic software
• Some mechanical aptitude and knowledge of construction equipment
• Professional communication skills in English both written and verbal
• A serious attitude towards safety in the workplace
• Satisfactory Background check
• Pass 4panel drug screening
• Choose a drug free lifestyle
• Be a team player with a positive attitude that likes to have fun at work

Responsibilities

• Completing quality control inspections
• Loading and unloading equipment for customers and assisting with safety regulations
• Completing repairs and services
• Making equipment deliveries as needed
• Keeping safety top priority
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Partnership with branch and fleet mechanics as needed
• Attending and assisting with training as applicable
• Any tasks, processes, and procedures delegated by supervisor
• Maintain professional appearance as a representative of All Star Rents
