Perianesthesia Nurse
About The Position
Ambulatory Anesthesia Care (AAC) is seeking skilled and talented pre/intra/post-op Perianesthesia RNs to join their office-based anesthesia practice in El Paso, TX. This role involves providing safe and quality patient care within a collaborative anesthesia and surgical team. The nursing care is provided during standard surgeon business hours, Monday through Friday, with no evenings, Sundays, or holidays. Bilingual candidates, especially Spanish-speaking, are highly encouraged to apply. The position offers the opportunity to work alongside an anesthesia and surgical team and set the example in delivering safe and quality patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate degree from an accredited RN program
- Active RN licensure in the state of TX
- A minimum of 3 years of ER/ICU critical care or PACU experience
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to drive to client locations

Responsibilities
- Pre-operative assessment and care of the patient
- Intra-operative care
- Post-operative/recovery care
- Maintaining the pharmacy and supplies
- Safely handling all equipment
- Participating in quality performance improvement activities
- Assisting with completing pre-operative patient assessments via our secure patient portal (from time to time)
