About The Position

Ambulatory Anesthesia Care (AAC) is establishing an office-based anesthesia practice in El Paso, TX, and is seeking skilled Perianesthesia RNs for their facilities in Abilene. This role involves providing pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care within a collaborative anesthesia and surgical team environment. The position offers a standard Monday-Friday work schedule with no evenings, Sundays, or holidays, aligning with typical surgeon business hours. Bilingual candidates, particularly Spanish speakers, are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include patient assessments, managing pharmacy and supplies, equipment handling, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Occasional assistance with pre-operative patient assessments via a secure patient portal may be required.

Requirements

Graduate degree from an accredited RN program
Active RN licensure in the state of TX
A minimum of 3 years of ER/ICU critical care or PACU experience
BLS certification
ACLS certification
Reliable transportation
Willingness to drive to client locations

Nice To Haves

PALS certificate
Bilingual (Spanish-speaking)

Responsibilities
