About The Position

Ambulatory Anesthesia Care (AAC) is expanding its office-based anesthesia services in the Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) metroplex and is seeking a skilled and talented Pediatric Perianesthesia RN. This role will support pre/intra/post-op care for pediatric patients across DFW office-based anesthesia facilities. The position offers the opportunity to work alongside an anesthesia and surgical team, focusing on safe, quality care. Nursing care is provided during standard surgeon business hours, Monday through Friday, with no evenings, Sundays, or holidays. Bilingual candidates, especially Spanish-speaking, are encouraged to apply. The role involves pre-operative assessment and care, intra-operative care, and post-operative/recovery care for pediatric patients. Responsibilities also include maintaining pharmacy and supplies, safely handling equipment, and participating in quality improvement activities. There may be opportunities to assist with pre-operative patient assessments via a secure patient portal.

Requirements

Graduate degree from an accredited RN program
Active RN licensure in the state of TX
A minimum of 3 years of critical care experience (PICU, pediatric ER, NICU, or PACU)
Pediatric experience strongly preferred
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
Comfort and confidence caring for pediatric patients in an office-based setting
Reliable transportation
Willingness to drive to client locations
