About The Position

Ambulatory Anesthesia Care (AAC) is expanding its office-based anesthesia services in the Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) metroplex and is seeking a skilled and talented Pediatric Perianesthesia RN. This role will support pre/intra/post-op care for pediatric patients across DFW office-based anesthesia facilities. AAC provides a comprehensive, peri-operative solution to surgeons and dentists, enabling them to perform procedures safely in their offices. The clinical model includes an anesthesia provider, perianesthesia RN, and all necessary anesthesia-related medications, supplies, and equipment delivered to the client site on the day of scheduled procedures. Nursing care is provided during standard surgeon business hours, Monday through Friday, with no evenings, Sundays, or holidays. Bilingual candidates, especially Spanish-speaking, are highly encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Graduate degree from an accredited RN program
Active RN licensure in the state of TX
A minimum of 3 years of critical care experience (PICU, pediatric ER, NICU, or PACU)
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
Comfort and confidence caring for pediatric patients in an office-based setting
Reliable transportation and willingness to drive to client locations

Responsibilities

Pre-operative assessment and care of the pediatric patient
Intra-operative care
Post-operative/recovery care
Maintaining the pharmacy and supplies
Safely handling all equipment
Participating in quality performance improvement activities
Assisting with completing pre-operative patient assessments via secure patient portal (from time to time)
