This position is onsite at Banner University Medical Center, Tucson. The shift includes weekdays and weekends including on-call. It is part-time 20 hours per week. POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for the cardiopulmonary bypass support of adult and pediatric patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery or patients requiring extracorporeal circulatory and/or respiratory support. Each perfusionist will be responsible for the selection, maintenance, and use of the perfusion hardware and software. The perfusionist coordinates and communicates with the OR team any needs or variances that arise during the operation. Additionally, the perfusionist is responsible for providing comprehensive management and coordination of care for specialized patient populations requiring ECMO therapy.
