About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Performance Test Engineer with expertise in JMeter and LoadRunner. The role leads performance testing efforts to ensure system reliability, scalability, and optimal application performance. It requires strong knowledge of performance testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks, along with leadership and communication skills.

The position is based onsite in McLean, Virginia, five days per week, and is full-time. The stated duration is full-time.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience, including 5+ years in a Performance Test Engineering role.
• Proficiency in JMeter and LoadRunner, with hands-on experience in scripting, execution, and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of performance testing concepts, including load, stress, and capacity testing.
• Familiarity with HTTP, HTTPS, Web Services, and database interactions.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with cloud-based performance testing, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Bamboo for integrating performance tests.
• Certification in JMeter or LoadRunner.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage performance testing activities across projects.
• Design and develop performance test scripts using JMeter and LoadRunner.
• Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Generate detailed performance test reports and dashboards.
• Configure and optimize JMeter and LoadRunner for various testing scenarios.
• Stay updated with the latest features and best practices for JMeter and LoadRunner.
