About The Position

Standard Bots is seeking a Performance Marketing Lead to own and optimize paid acquisition and conversion programs across search, social, and web. This senior individual contributor role reports to the Head of Marketing and is responsible for generating qualified pipeline and ensuring positive unit economics. The ideal candidate will build, run, and optimize performance marketing functions end-to-end, including paid search, paid social, conversion rate optimization, and the associated marketing technology infrastructure. Success is defined by a predictable, scalable system that generates SQLs at target cost, converts them into customers efficiently, and improves over time. The role requires a hands-on approach, focusing on keywords, audiences, ad copy, landing pages, and platform integrations, with a strong emphasis on rapid testing and data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced startup environment.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of hands-on performance marketing experience.
  • At least 2–3 years in B2B technology, industrial, or manufacturing-adjacent markets.
  • Deep expertise across paid search, paid social, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Fluency with Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Analytics, and HubSpot.
  • Strong understanding of marketing technology architecture, including platform connections, conversion data flow, and reliable tracking/attribution.
  • Sharp analytical instincts with a focus on unit economics, funnel math, and statistical significance.
  • Excellent ad copywriting skills for search ads, social copy, and landing page headlines.
  • Bias toward speed and testing.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment where you'll own the function.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience marketing to manufacturers, plant operators, or industrial engineers.
  • Familiarity with robotics, automation, or adjacent hardware/software categories.
  • Experience with Conversion API (CAPI) implementations for Meta and Google.
  • Based in or near New York, or open to hybrid work.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage highly granular keyword and ad group structures across category terms, competitor terms, and niche terms for paid search.
  • Write and continuously test ad copy that maps to buyer intent at every stage of the search journey.
  • Optimize keyword-level performance including bids, match types, quality scores, negative keywords, and search term mining.
  • Own competitor term strategy with a clear point of view on bidding.
  • Manage budget allocation across campaigns and ad groups based on performance data.
  • Build and execute paid social campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
  • Develop creative strategies for audience enrichment by layering first-party data, customer lists, and third-party signals.
  • Own the full creative pipeline for paid social, including ad copy, static visuals, and video assets.
  • Develop and maintain a clear strategy for balancing prospecting and retargeting spend, measuring incrementality.
  • Own the conversion architecture across landing pages and key website flows with a structured A/B testing program.
  • Work closely with design and development to rapidly produce, launch, and iterate on test variants.
  • Aggregate learnings across tests to improve page and flow performance over time.
  • Act as a UX strategist for hierarchy, messaging, CTAs, form design, and page speed.
  • Own the integration layer between advertising platforms, CRM, and analytics, ensuring conversion signals flow correctly.
  • Build and maintain tracking infrastructure, including UTM frameworks, conversion APIs, pixel implementations, and attribution models.
  • Evaluate, implement, and optimize martech tools that improve targeting, measurement, or workflow efficiency.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with data flow between systems.
  • Own Standard Bots' SQL generation targets and cost-per-SQL goals.
  • Monitor and optimize the full funnel from impression to closed-won.
  • Report on performance with clarity and precision through dashboards, weekly reviews, and monthly deep-dives.
