About The Position

Herbal Goodness, a rapidly expanding wellness and nutraceutical brand, is seeking an experienced and AI-savvy Performance Marketing Consultant. This role focuses on managing and optimizing Meta (Facebook, Instagram) and Google Ads accounts to drive significant revenue growth, enhance Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), and improve customer acquisition. The consultant will be responsible for auditing, optimizing, and scaling ad campaigns, leveraging AI tools for deeper insights and performance improvements. This is a hands-on, results-oriented position for an individual who combines strong advertising expertise, analytical skills, AI capabilities, and excellent communication. The primary objective is to increase profitable revenue through Meta and Google advertising, focusing on key growth goals such as increasing revenue, improving ROAS, reducing CPA, and reducing wasted ad spend.

Requirements

  • 5+ years managing Meta Ads and Google Ads for e-commerce brands.
  • Proven success scaling revenue through paid media.
  • Strong understanding of Google Search, Google Shopping, Performance Max, Meta Ads, Retargeting, Attribution, and Conversion Tracking.
  • Significant experience using AI to analyze, optimize, and scale advertising accounts.
  • Demonstrated expertise using Claude AI, ChatGPT, and other advanced AI tools.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Experience managing advertising budgets of $10,000+ per month.
  • Ability to identify and execute growth opportunities quickly.
  • Ability to explain account performance clearly to business owners and leadership teams.
  • Ability to clearly explain account performance, present findings in business language, and translate advertising metrics into financial impact.
  • Ability to explain why campaigns succeed or fail and recommend actionable improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a complete audit of existing Meta campaigns, analyzing structure, audiences, creatives, and attribution to identify inefficiencies and wasted spend.
  • Optimize Meta campaign architecture, build and scale winning audiences, and develop advanced retargeting strategies.
  • Improve customer acquisition efficiency and launch/manage A/B tests for Meta campaigns.
  • Monitor and improve Meta campaign performance daily.
  • Conduct a comprehensive audit of all Google Ads campaigns (Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, YouTube).
  • Improve Google Ads keyword targeting, coverage, and build robust negative keyword lists.
  • Enhance Google Ads Quality Scores, campaign structure, and conversion tracking.
  • Identify opportunities for scaling profitable Google Ads campaigns.
  • Conduct deep keyword research to identify high-converting keywords, emerging opportunities, competitor insights, and long-tail keywords.
  • Develop a systematic keyword harvesting process and build ongoing keyword expansion strategies.
  • Translate paid search insights into SEO opportunities.
  • Utilize AI tools (Claude AI, ChatGPT, etc.) to analyze advertising account performance, review large datasets, identify trends/anomalies, and surface growth opportunities.
  • Optimize ad copy and creative testing using AI.
  • Improve campaign structures and generate performance recommendations using AI.
  • Produce executive-level reporting and analysis, clearly explaining how AI is incorporated into the workflow.
  • Review and provide recommendations for product pages, collection pages, landing pages, checkout flow, and conversion funnels to improve conversion rates, Average Order Value, customer acquisition efficiency, and revenue per visitor.
  • Provide weekly reporting and insights covering spend, revenue, ROAS, CPA, conversion rate, CTR, CPC, impression share, keyword performance, campaign performance, and audience performance, focusing on insights, root causes, opportunities, and action plans.
  • Complete pre-work including account audits, identification of quick wins, and presentation of findings and optimization roadmap.
  • Implement campaign restructuring, keyword improvements, and bidding/targeting enhancements within the first week.
  • Launch testing initiatives and expand keyword harvesting, optimizing budget allocation in the second week.
  • Deliver measurable account improvements and present growth opportunities and scaling plans within weeks 3-4.
  • Clearly explain account performance, translate advertising metrics into financial impact, and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Participate in weekly strategy meetings and take ownership and accountability for results.
