We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to help advance our ambulatory care operations across a growing network of multispecialty practices. In this highly visible role, you will spearhead initiatives that strengthen operational excellence, elevate the patient experience, and support sustainable growth. Partnering closely with clinical and administrative leadership, you will identify opportunities for improvement, implement best practices, and drive enterprise-wide strategies that enhance access, quality, efficiency, and patient-centered care. Your work will directly contribute to the continued success and transformation of one of the nation’s premier healthcare systems. This role leads quality improvement and operational excellence initiatives across the Ambulatory Care Network partnering closely with a broad range of stakeholders including clinical, operational, administrative, strategic, and executive leaders. The individual will drive strategic projects from planning through execution, leveraging data and analytics to identify opportunities, implement sustainable solutions, improve workflows, and enhance patient experience, access, quality, and operational performance. Responsibilities include overseeing data collection and reporting, supporting program implementation, developing presentations and recommendations for stakeholders, and translating complex data into actionable insights. Success in this role requires strong project management, critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with the ability to foster collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and drive meaningful organizational change. This role leads operational excellence and quality improvement initiatives across the Ambulatory Care Network. Partnering with a broad range of stakeholders including clinical, operational, administrative, strategic, and executive leaders, the individual will drive initiatives that optimize practice operations, standardize workflows and processes, improve patient access and experience, and enhance overall operational efficiency across ambulatory sites. The role is responsible for identifying operational challenges and opportunities, implementing sustainable solutions and best practices, and leading projects that support consistent, high-quality performance and organizational growth. Responsibilities include analyzing operational and performance data, developing actionable recommendations, supporting program implementation, and facilitating change management efforts to improve workflow effectiveness and resource utilization. Success in this position requires strong project management, critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, influence stakeholders, and drive measurable improvements in practice operations and patient-centered care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong research and analytical skills including collecting, analyzing and summarizing data into identifiable trends in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience with hospital operations and strategic planning
  • Demonstrate excellent writing and communication skills
  • All roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
