Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience
  • Previous hands-on experience as developer and/or performance architect
  • Onsite client work 60% (3 days per week) in Charlotte, NC
  • Associate's degree

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to resolve.
  • Engage in the five aspects of Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management, and problem detection and resolution.
  • Be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, and be responsible for team decisions.
  • Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions while providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across various teams.
  • Analyze performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement performance testing strategies to ensure application reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall system performance.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior team members on performance engineering best practices.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine performance testing tools and methodologies.
