About The Position

This role requires a Performance Engineer with extensive experience in performance testing and engineering. The position is 100% onsite in Tampa, FL, for a duration of 6 months. The primary focus will be on ensuring the performance and scalability of systems through rigorous testing and analysis.

Requirements

• 10+ years of performance testing and engineering experience.
• Experience with JMeter tool.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, CloudWatch.
• Hands-on automation performance testing through a CI/CD pipeline.
• Experience with AWS performance analysis and tuning.
• Experience with JVM and Tomcat/Websphere performance analysis and tuning.
• Experience with Linux Performance analysis.
• Broad experience with multiple middleware and data store technologies such as message queues, relational databases, NoSQL DBs, caches, stream processing, batch processing.
• Experience with Oracle or DB2 SQL performance analysis.
• Experience developing simulators or automations in multiple languages such as Java, Python, etc., for simulating workloads or supporting activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct performance testing and engineering.
• Analyze and tune performance in AWS environments.
• Analyze and tune performance of JVM and Tomcat/Websphere.
• Perform performance analysis on Linux systems.
• Analyze performance of multiple middleware and data store technologies including message queues, relational databases, NoSQL DBs, caches, stream processing, and batch processing.
• Analyze SQL performance for Oracle or DB2.
• Develop simulators or automations in languages such as Java or Python for workload simulation and supporting activities.
• Implement automation for performance testing through a CI/CD pipeline.
