About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Performance Analyst/Reporting Specialist to join our team in the greater DMV area, supporting the Army National Guard. This role involves aggregating and validating performance data from various sources, developing executive dashboards, and preparing analytical reports to provide real-time operational and delivery visibility. The specialist will conduct trend and variance analysis, coordinate with stakeholders to ensure data integrity, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The position also requires producing ad-hoc analytic reports and briefings for leadership.

Requirements

  • 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree
  • Clearance: TS/SCI (active)
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Science, Finance, Management, or related field; OR CAPM or CompTIA Project+ certification.
  • Experience in performance analysis, PMO reporting, data analytics, or related roles.
  • Proficiency with BI/visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau), Excel (advanced), SQL, and experience ingesting data from ITSM, SIEM, financial, and scheduling systems.
  • Strong data validation, dashboard design, storytelling, and briefing skills for senior leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior DoD/PMO or program reporting experience
  • Familiarity with program management processes, EVM basics, and RMF/ATO reporting constraints
  • Experience with automation/ETL tools and data pipeline maintenance

Responsibilities

  • Aggregate and validate performance data from ITSM tools, cybersecurity dashboards, financial systems, program schedules, and other sources.
  • Develop and maintain executive dashboards, KPIs, and visualizations providing real‑time operational and delivery visibility.
  • Prepare Monthly Status Reports, PMR briefings, and analytical narratives that synthesize trends, variances, forecasts, and root‑cause analysis.
  • Conduct variance and trend analysis; produce recommendations to inform resource allocation, corrective actions, and strategic planning.
  • Coordinate with program managers, technical teams, finance, and leadership to validate data integrity and align reporting to stakeholder priorities.
  • Maintain reporting data pipelines, ETL processes, and documentation to ensure repeatability and auditability.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying data quality issues, reporting process gaps, and automation opportunities.
  • Produce ad‑hoc analytic reports and briefings as requested by leadership.
