About The Position
The Perforation Line Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining perforation machinery to produce perforated metal sheets. This role supports production by ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency across work centers.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of metal fabrication and machine operation experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Ability to operate or learn forklift (certification required)
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or on a team
- Must be able to communicate in English (bilingual a plus)
Nice To Haves
- CNC machining experience strongly preferred
- Forklift experience/certification
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain perforation machines
- Operate shear and surface grinder to meet blueprint specifications
- Load and unload steel coils using overhead crane
- Perform tool and die setup for production runs
- Conduct minor repairs and maintenance on equipment
- Ensure production of zero-defect parts
- Follow technical drawings and production requirements
- Support general production and additional duties as assigned
