Requirements

Proven experience working as a line operator.
Extensive knowledge of the operating procedures for production machinery and other equipment.
Proficiency in adhering to health and safety regulations and quality standards.
Understanding of quality control and basic maintenance procedures.
Aptitude for mechanical skills.
Ability to keep a disciplined record of production, service times, costs, and resources.
Physical stamina and ability to perform moderately strenuous tasks.
Ability to work cooperatively in a team setting.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work shifts, over weekends, holidays, and overtime when required.

Responsibilities

Set up machinery and ensure all production materials are available.
Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed.
Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
Monitor and troubleshoot operating equipment loads, material weights and production speeds to maintain optimal operation of the line.
Perform regular checks and preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment and components.
Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the production supervisor.
Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and protocols within the production line.
Regularly carry out quality assurance tests to ensure product consistency.
Cooperate and communicate with other team members to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace by upholding cleanliness and sanitation regulations.
Record operational or production data for reference in future operations or quality control checks.
Completing all tasks in a timely manner following all guidelines for efficient and safe operation.
