About The Position

In this role, Physical Security Officers (PSO’s) can expect to be working in demanding and fast-paced environments. PSOs may find themselves working in a wide range of areas, including medical centers, government facilities, hospitality venues, and public events. The PSO's mission is to protect all assigned people, information, and property, while delivering high-end customer service. PSOs represent the front line of our security services. As a per diem officer, you will work on an as-needed basis. Per diem officers are required to work a minimum of 16 hours per month.

Requirements

• Current and valid DL
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be able to pass drug screen
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient time management skills
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent de-escalation skills
• Extensive use of force knowledge
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation, urinalysis screening and OPS training requirements
• Ability to work under stress / pressure
• Ability to lift 25 pounds
• Ability to wear a uniform

Nice To Haves

• (1) year experience in security recommended

Responsibilities

• Delivering high end customer service
• Responding to emergencies
• Deterring and preventing crime
• Performing ingress/ egress control procedures
• Investigating incidents
• Completing daily logs and incident reports
• Conducting regular walking or vehicle patrols
• Building and Maintaining a professional rapport with clients, guests and co-workers
• De-escalating conflicts
• Detaining suspects
• Monitoring CCTV cameras
• Performing other related duties as assigned
