About The Position
Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Security Officer to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, staff, and property. This role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work with diverse populations, and the capacity to handle demanding and stressful situations. The Security Officer will stand and walk for extended periods and participate in de-escalation under the guidance of clinical staff.
Requirements
- High School or equivalent
- Heart Saver or Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association or American Red Cross required to start
- One year security experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Mental Health Tech or other behavioral health experience will be considered in lieu of security experience.
Responsibilities
