About The Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join a women's gynecology private practice. The clinic is a patient-centered fertility clinic dedicated to providing compassionate reproductive care. Our team supports individuals and families on their journey to parenthood through personalized treatment plans, advanced technology, and a warm, welcoming environment. You will be a part of and closely working with a large team of sonographers and women's healthcare providers who focus on providing quality care.

Requirements

Ideally candidate would have 1 plus years of GYN experience, transvaginal and abdominal scans, and early OB sonograms in a fast-paced environment.
Ultrasound Technologist Certification.
Maintains current diagnostic medical sonographer registration required for position and complies with Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits.
RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) - If not RDMS certified upon hire date, then must achieve such certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

Prepares exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography examinations.
Reviews patient medical history and supporting clinical information.
Communicates with the patient in a manner appropriate to the patient’s ability to understand.
Conducts patient clinical assessment and performs the diagnostic medical sonography examination ordered by the supervising physician.
Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA) and facility policies, and procedures.
Performs quality control procedures to ensure that the ultrasound equipment operates at optimal levels.
Works with the appropriate staff to ensure quality patient care.
Establishes and maintains collaborative working relationships with co-workers, administrators, and members of the health care team.
Fosters a collaborative atmosphere with other members of the healthcare team.
