About The Position

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation is an inpatient rehabilitation hospital committed to providing exceptional and compassionate care to best address the medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges for individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas. The Ultrasound Technologist will perform Ultrasound evaluations of patients and communicate findings to the Radiologist, focusing on venous/vascular studies and abdominal, renal, and small parts.

Requirements

• A High School diploma or equivalent required
• Certificate from a Diagnostic Ultrasound School
• Certification or certification eligible by a certified agency, A.R.D.M.S., A.R.R.T., C.C.I.
• Graduated from an accredited Ultrasound program
• Vascular ultrasound experience and RDMS certification required
• Must be available to work Six (6) shifts per Six (6) week schedule; Three (3) must be on the Weekend (Saturday's or Sunday's).

Responsibilities

• Perform Ultrasound evaluations of patients and communicate findings to the Radiologist.
• The General Ultrasound Tech will be responsible for venous/vascular studies and abdominal, renal, and small parts.
• Assist in determining needs for equipment, supplies, and maintenance
• Perform clerical duties related to the operation of the department
• Assist in transporting patients as needed.
