About The Position

Certified Group is seeking a Per Diem Traffic Associate (Sampler) for a flexible, long-term opportunity to earn supplemental income. This role involves collecting product samples from various client locations, including manufacturers, processors, warehouses, and distribution facilities, to support food safety and quality programs. It's ideal for individuals seeking autonomy, variety, and the ability to choose assignments based on their availability. While there are no guaranteed hours, consistent opportunities may be available. This is an independent, field-based role with clear procedures and support, offering a stable, recurring opportunity with long-term potential based on performance and availability.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical fieldwork (bend, kneel, crouch, etc.).
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own time.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow detailed SOPs and procedures.
• Professional and client-ready demeanor.
• Candidates must reside within 30 miles of assigned location.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a field-based role.
• Familiarity with food safety and quality programs.

Responsibilities

• Collect food product samples from client facilities, public warehouses, and cold storage facilities following established SOPs and protocols.
• Accurately complete all sample documentation, including IDs, photos, collection details, and chain of custody documentation.
• Ensure proper handling, labeling, and integrity of collected samples.
• Complete required logs, transmittals, and reporting forms.
• Safely transport sampling materials and equipment.
• Maintain assigned vehicle cleanliness and organization.
• Track petty cash and receipts when applicable.
• Communicate delays or field issues to the Traffic Manager/Supervisor.
• Maintain a professional appearance and customer-facing demeanor.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
