About The Position
Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a psychiatrist to join their Department of Psychiatry in Southern New Jersey. This per-diem position involves providing comprehensive, multidisciplinary care through inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services across multiple health systems. The role also includes an academic component, teaching medical students, residents, and allied health professionals, with opportunities for academic promotion within the university.
Requirements
- Valid NJ Medical License
- CDS
- DEA
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Legally authorized to work in the US
Responsibilities
- Provide appropriate, comprehensive, and multidisciplinary care.
- Perform inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services within multiple health systems in South Jersey.
- Work closely with clinical staff for the day-to-day treatment of patients.
- Teach medical students, residents, and allied health professionals in an academic capacity.
