About The Position

As a Per Diem Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of prescription orders to patients.

Requirements

• 1-2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience, including prescription processing, inventory management, and customer inquiries
• A valid Pharmacist License in this state
• Ready to work as required to provide coverage for any unplanned absences, days off, or scheduled time off
• Understand how to create a great customer experience and can analyze and improve pharmacy processes
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test as a requirement of employment
• Available to work within operating hours: Per Diem Hours - shifts ranging from 6 to 10 hours throughout the week. Austin Operation Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM, Saturday - Sunday: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Learn our systems thoroughly, managing both internal and external pharmacy operations
• Be a team player, handling various aspects of prescription orders such as processing, filling, inventory, and customer inquiries
• Communicate well with doctors' offices, pharmacies, and insurers to meet prescription needs
• Collaborate with pharmacy colleagues to ensure a smooth customer experience in a dynamic workflow
• Work with our courier team to handle deliveries efficiently
• Provide counseling and drug-related information to customers for both prescription and over-the-counter items
