Per Diem Nurse Practitioner, Psych PMHNP - Mark Reed E&T
About The Position
As a senior member of the clinical team, the Psych Nurse Practitioner provides direct psychiatric care and medication treatment to members served, in addition to the recovery focused treatment plan developed and delivered in concert with the multidisciplinary team. This is a per diem, as needed coverage, remote position. Telecare operates the Mark Reed Evaluation and Treatment (E&T) center in McCleary WA. This program, located in Grays Harbor County, is a secure 16-bed inpatient E&T for adults aged 18+ who meet the criteria for services under the Involuntary Treatment Act (ITA). Our mission at this facility is to engage individuals with complex needs in recovering their health, hopes, and dreams. We are looking for employees that have a desire to work in a team environment that is focused on recovery and empowerment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science and an advanced degree in a healthcare science as required by the State Licensing program
- Minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience, or its part-time equivalent, working in a program serving persons with mental disabilities
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner in the State of practice
- Active DEA and Furnishing licenses
