About The Position

As a Per Diem FOH Attendant at our TSMC corporate dining location in Camas, Washington, you’ll support a dynamic café environment by delivering genuine service, assisting with food prep, cooking, sanitation, and maintaining an inviting front‑of‑house experience. This is a cross‑trained role, offering hands‑on exposure to front‑of‑house service, prep, cooking, serving, and dishwashing, making it ideal for team members who enjoy variety and learning across multiple functions. You’ll play a key role in keeping service running smoothly while upholding Thomas Cuisine’s REAL Food standards and hospitality‑first approach.

Requirements

  • ServSafe® Certification and State Food Handlers Card
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn across FOH and kitchen functions
  • Flexibility to work per diem shifts based on operational needs i.e. cover team member PTO days and call-ins

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, professional front‑of‑house service, greeting guests and supporting café operations.
  • Cross‑train across front‑of‑house service, food prep, basic cooking, serving, and dishwashing as needed.
  • Assist with basic food preparation and cooking tasks as trained, following recipes and production guidelines.
  • Support grab‑and‑go, hot food, and café service during peak meal periods.
  • Maintain clean, organized serving areas, workstations, and equipment.
  • Restock food, beverages, condiments, and supplies throughout service.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and temperature‑control standards at all times.
  • Properly label, date, store, and rotate food items to ensure freshness and quality.
  • Support kitchen opening and closing procedures as assigned.
  • Collaborate with culinary and FOH team members to ensure efficient, welcoming service.
  • Support dishwashing and sanitation, maintaining clean, organized serviceware and work areas throughout service.
  • Step in to assist service lines, stations, and team coverage to keep service running smoothly during lunch service and other peak periods.
  • Assist with catering or special events as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support café operations.
