Per Diem Certified CT Technologist - Outpatient Imaging
About The Position
Columbia/NewYork-Presbyterian Advanced Imaging (CNYPAI) delivers advanced outpatient Radiology and Imaging services, including MRI and PET/CT, supported by cutting-edge technology and some of the most respected experts in the field. As a CT Technologist, you will perform a variety of CT examinations using state-of-the-art Siemens imaging equipment in a collaborative, high-quality outpatient environment. Your expertise will directly support accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and innovative research, while helping patients receive the answers and care they need. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
- New York State Radiology license in Radiography and certified by New York State to inject contrast media
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT)
- Must maintain all required continuing education and renewal requirements for New York State and ARRT/NMTCB credentials.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum one year of experience in CT
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency with EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, and modality-specific software
- Previous relevant experience in research
- Prior experience with Siemens equipment
